Sandbox Kings is a band of unique design in which variety is an essential spice of life. Created by Branko Hodzic, Sandbox Kings is a musical domain, where catchy music and meaningful lyrics blend to create songs in a unique style of pop/rock. Songs embrace the beautiful, sad and fun things in life as well as all the other little big things in between. Lyrics often contain the storytelling aspect of folk songwriters of the past but in a modern pop context. A few of the Bands and artists who have had an influential impact on the music include: Seal, Maxwell, Sting, U2, Lenny Kravitz, etc…

While dipping one toe in the waters of musical exploration, another is in a tub of entertainment. Each show strives to be different from the last. A standard four piece band one show, or solo acoustic with the Sandbox Strings, a string quartet, the next. They might even combine it all into one show. Every show is made to be special whether it's an audible or visual presentation. Sandbox Kings strives to carve an alternative niche in modern pop music.

Branko Hodzic toured regionally with Cinema8 sharing the stage with bands such as Everclear, Rusted Root, Fighting Gravity, and Cowboy Mouth. He can be seen as the bass player for Billy Gilman in the music video for his hit single "My Girl". He also writes with the LA based band "Olio" which boasts an all star lineup of players frequently seen with Beyoncé, Destiny's Child, Monica, Usher, Boys II Men, and the list goes on and on.
