Grand Prize Winner DC101 Create A Caps Goal Song Contest |
Hey Everyone!!
We found out this morning "Rock The Red" has won the DC101 contest for the Washington Capitals Create A Goal Song. The song is an original song written for this contest.
It will be played after every goal the Caps score at the Verizon Center for the rest of this season. It debuts Thursday night when the Caps square off against the Tampa Bay Lightning. We will be in attendance and chances are good we'll hear it at least a couple of times. The caps have the most potent offense in the NHL.
The song will also be aired on Elliot in the Morning on DC101 on Friday, March 5th. You can listen online at dc101.com.
